Fairy Raine is actually a real life fairy who did in fact marry Santa Claus which is what inspired the book about how Fairy Raine, who lived in a dolls house, she met Santa and joined him in the North Pole to be part of his Christmas Team. The writer Lorraine Halse-Smith lives in Brisbane, Queensland and has added lots of Australian native animals in the illustrations throughout the book. A magical story to share with believers of Christmas, whatever their age.
